This multi-phase project involved a range of works, including block paving, carriageway and footway resurfacing, and the rectification of highway drainage defects.
Street lighting issues, affecting both new column installations and service connections, were addressed alongside carefully controlled traffic management to maintain safe and efficient operations throughout the programme.
Cost-effective drainage remedial solutions were developed to reduce the need for extensive dig-down works, following close coordination with North Yorkshire Highways.
Clear and consistent communication with residents ensured they were well informed of traffic management arrangements and programme durations. This approach allowed works to progress smoothly while maintaining traffic flow throughout the development.
The scheme was delivered on programme, enabling the development to be placed onto maintenance with a reduced timeframe ahead of adoption.
