Technical Approvals

Advance Two have long established working relationships with statutory undertakers, local authorities, solicitors, and bondsmen to ensure seamless completion of any outstanding site agreements.

Bond Management

Advance Two believe bond management is a major part of site adoption work. We will liaise on your behalf with the adopting bodies & surety to ensure your outstanding bond liability is as low as possible to reduce the risk of becoming over exposed. As part of your adoption package we will produce a full detailed bond schedule and track the reductions on a monthly basis for inclusion within your board reports. We aim to reduce and cancel your overdue bonds quickly and efficiently freeing up your time to work on new projects.

Section 38 Highway Works

Advance Two will organise and attend all highway inspections including any pre-maintenance, maintenance and final inspections and produce detailed reports at each stage. We will also inspect all street lighting and highway furniture and produce all necessary reports. We will liaise closely with the local authority and surety to ensure a swift highway adoption and bond cancelation.

Section 278 Highway Works

Advance Two will assist in all types of off-site highway works from minor site entrances to roundabouts, carriageway widening, guarding and lighting. All site inspections will be attended by Advance Two and detailed reports will be issued at each stage of the hand over process. We will also organise for any insurance backed bonds or cash bonds to be released.

Section 104 Sewer Works

Advance Two will organise and attend all site inspections with the local water authority including general, pre-maintenance, maintenance and final inspections and produce detail reports for all manholes, flow controls, storage facilities and first off inspection chambers. Once the sewers become vested, we will ensure all bonds are cancelled.

Pumping Station Works

Advance Two will assist in completion and hand over of any pumping station to the LWA. We will inspect all elements of the civils infrastructure and M&E and can arrange the installation of the phone lines and telemetry. We will also arrange end to end testing and final adoption including assisting the legal teams with the associated land transfers.

Road and Sewer Condition Reports

Advance Two can produce detailed photographic surveys and remedials/snag lists for tender or retention release purposes prior to maintenance inspections with adopting bodies.

As-Built Drawing Packages

Advance Two can carry out a post completion survey and update the site construction drawings to As Built status. We will also deal directly with the adopting body to ensure all details are approved.

Tendering, Appointment & Supervision

Your existing contractors may be too busy to return but have framework contractors you may wish to price for the works. Advance Two can offer a remedials tendering service along with a site works supervision roll to overlook the completion of any of the road and sewer remedials prior to maintenance and final adoptions.
